Ekonomi.feb.unesa.ac.id (28/03/23) - Program Studi S1 Ekonomi Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Surabaya mengadakan kegiatan Visiting Professor yang berkolaborasi dengan Ural Federal University dan dihadiri oleh Prof. Irina Turgel. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan secara online dan diikuti oleh seluruh Mahasiswa prodi S1 ekonomi. Visiting Professor kali ini membawakan tema “Emerging Technology In Urban And Regional Planning: Implementation Of Smart City”

Dalam pemaparannya, Prof. Irina mengatakan bahwa Urbanization is process in which people migrates from the rural area into the urban area, and their producing, living style changes greatly. It is not only a simply structural change of population, but also, the improvement of the industrial structure and site location. For the policy challenges; The Variety Of Approaches To Research. The role of the smart city concept as an element of a national state policy ( the key criterion in decision-making is the level of governance (local, subnational and national)). Specific groups of countries sharing such characteristics as geographical location, political system, living standards, and so on (Western, Eastern, Asian models) The sources and mechanisms of funding (public budget, private investment, foundation-sponsored initiatives, quasi-governmental bodies etc.). The conclusion about experience smart city in Indonesia are; Indonesia, as one of the most developing countries, is actively introducing the concept of a Smart City into the daily lives of citizens of the country, in particular. The concept has the main legislative consolidation at the national and regional level. The dominant model is a mixed model of digital transition, in which society, the state and business interact in close partnership.
